Twenty two single homeless people, between the ages of 16 and 25 can be accommodated at Time Stop for up to three months. If circumstances have forced a young person into homelessness Time Stop can provide access to immediate accommodation. Each young person will be allocated a Key Worker who will help them to identify their needs and, through an intensive, short-term Support Plan, help them positively move on with their lives. Practical assistance is offered with budgeting and seeking employment together with emotional support to encourage healthy and rewarding independent lives.
The rooms all have comfortable furniture, a sink and fridge freezer and there is shared access to bathrooms, kitchens and a communal lounge complete with microwave, kettle, toaster and television.
Time Stop accepts referrals from any agency and self-referrals by telephone or by mail. All applicants must be willing to engage with the support on offer.
