Student Accommodation at Cambridge YMCA

Cambridge YMCA is situated in a great location just on the edge of the city centre. All amenities are within a 10 minute walk and Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is a 5 minute walk away.

We have two floors dedicated to students attending ARU. There are 32 rooms in total. 12 are for the use of academic year students and the other 20 rooms house students who are studying for one semester. 

Each room contains a bed, wardrobe, basin, desk and desk chair, low chair and a fridge.  Both floors have shared bathrooms and kitchens. Wifi is available in all student rooms to aid student study.

We have created a 'chill out' room which provides a comfortable seating area, television, Xbox and some board games. This room has proved to be very popular with students, but it would seem that the kitchens are the main social areas! We will be undertaking building works in the summer of 2010 that will include the redecoration and refurbishment of the current student rooms and kitchens. We are also hoping to create a larger social area for students to relax in.

Many solid friendships have been created amongst students from several different countries and backgrounds.
