The Cresset provides accommodation and support for 89 single homeless people between the ages of 18 and 36, with low to medium needs. We recognise the intrinsic value in every person and all residents are treated with a non-judgemental attitude.
Support is provided by 3 full time staff (plus support staff) between the hours of 9am and 12:00am Monday to Friday and from 8pm to 12.00am on a Saturday. An emergency on call system is available 24/7. Staff offer support with finance, employment, health (mental and physical), social needs, housing and a range of other issues.
The accommodation consists of 65 self contained studio flats and 24 licensed flats with shared facilities. There are laundry facilities and a communal lounge, with tea and coffee making facilities, television, internet access and pool table.

The Cresset accepts referrals from any agency and self referral by telephone or by mail. Minimum stay is three months with a maximum stay of up to two years. All applicants must be willing to engage with the support on offer and residents are encouraged to join the Cresset Resident Committee.
